# CSRD ESRS E1 prerequisites

## Self-assessment: 

Before the assessment review is carried out by the evaluation team, the organisation or legal entity must self-review its assessment by following [this guide](https://www.bilancarbone-evaluation.com/guide-devaluation-des-bilans-en/appendix-2-control-of-compliance-with-the-requirements-of-esrs-e1-csrd/evaluation-of-csrd-esrs-e1-requirements). This will notably make it possible to: 

* Better know what to expect in the case of a first review
* Properly prepare all evidence or additional documents required for the review
* Correct any possible error preventing the assessment from being verified and validated
