The assessment report

Two formats of assessment report for inventories exist:

• one PDF format : which concerns the Self evaluation to be carried out by organizations as a prerequisite to the assessment of their inventory. This report is found in the appendix to the guide

• one assessment tool : which concerns the assessment of Carbon Footprints®. Its use, reserved for trained and certified assessors, is mandatory for the submission of the result and theobtaining the evaluation certificate. Instructions on how to fill in each section of the report are given in the following subsections.

Reporting of the report

The evaluation results, along with supporting documents, are returned by the evaluator to Association for Low Carbon Transition (ABC).

Supporting documents

Various supporting documents are to attach to the report based on the information provided:

• Theassessment tool completed by the evaluator

• Training certificates for the Bilan Carbone® method for all members of the evaluation team

• The training certificate and certification in balance assessments (at minimum that of the Evaluation lead)
