Prerequisite evaluation

This step of the evaluation makes it possible to verify and validate compliance with the fundamental requirements of each method or regulation.

If there is a failure on one or more points, the methodological criteria evaluation that follows will not be able to result in a verified and validated assessment. The evaluation can therefore be stopped at this stage.

In the following tabs are the instructions for completing each field of the report, for the prerequisites of a Bilan Carbone® and those of a Regulatory GHG Assessment.

Self assessment

Before proceeding with the assessment evaluation by the evaluation team, the organisation or legal entity must self-assess its assessment by following the instructions in this guide and completing the blank report found in the appendix. This will notably make it possible to:

• Better know what to expect in the case of a first evaluation

• Properly prepare all evidence or additional documents needed for the evaluation

• Correct any possible error preventing the assessment from being verified and validated
