Assessment of the prerequisites for the Bilan Carbone® and the Regulatory GHG Assessment.
Evaluation of prerequisites
This step of the evaluation allows verification and validation of compliance with the fundamental requirements of each method or regulation.
If there is a failure on one or more points, the evaluation of the methodological criteria that follows cannot result in an assessed and validated bilan. The evaluation may therefore be stopped at this step.
In the following tabs are the instructions for completing each box of the report, for the prerequisites of a Bilan Carbone® and those of a Regulatory GHG Assessment.
Self assessment
Before proceeding with the evaluation of the bilan by the evaluation team, the organisation or legal entity must self assess its bilan by following the instructions of this guide and by completing the blank report found in the appendix. This will notably allow:
Better know what to expect in the case of an initial evaluation
Thoroughly prepare all evidence or additional documents necessary for the evaluation
To correct any possible error preventing the assessment from being verified and validated
